During Thanksgiving weekend, we squeezed one more fun event into the mix...
an early birthday celebration with my family!
Kern cooked the barbeque pork and beef -- it was perfect!
Sprinkle cake, anyone?
The cake plate was a gift from my parents.
I picked a very "non-Thanksgiving" menu since everyone had been eating turkey and dressing for several days straight.
Pork and Beef BBQ, twice baked potatoes, baked beans, marinated tomatoes
"Happy Birthday to you..."
Making a wish
The grandparents and me
The Hoffs came from Brookhaven and all 13 of us had a wonderful evening.
I am so thankful for each of them!
These folks have been throwing my birthday parties for the past 27 years.
Kay, me, Kensy
Even though it was a little early to celebrate, it was fun to have an excuse for everyone to get back together one more time during Thanksgiving.
I've never been one to argue with stretching out the celebration of my birthday!
