Instead of taking the metro to the White House, Kern and I decided to take advantage of the perfect fall weather and ride our bikes!
This was the first Garden Tour that we have been to in the last two years where it has not rained!

In 1878 President Rutherford B. Hayes began the tradition of planting commemorative trees around the White House grounds.
I made sure to pose in front of the Rose Garden...only fitting for Ask for Roses!
