I really need to make a literal travel bucket list--I have several places in my mind that I always think, "I need to find a way to get there!" but I have yet to put actual pen to paper. However, one of those "must see" places for me has always been Niagara Falls. The name itself sounds magical.
Over Columbus Day weekend, Kern, Jordan and I went home to upstate New York with Carolyn. Over the next couple of days I'll show you some fun photos from our trip. We packed a lot of activity into a short amount of time--and we had a blast!
We woke up Saturday morning and got in the car (after a wonderful breakfast) and drove straight for the Canadian border. Yep -- this was my first international trip with Kern (ha).
The international border line on the Rainbow Bridge.
We crossed over to look at the Falls from the Canadian side - breathtaking!
It was raining when we left the house that morning, but it cleared beautifully by the time we arrived.

Below: Horseshoe Falls - the mist was amazing! It felt like rain, even from a distance! Can you see the Maid of the Mist boat?
Oh, Canada!
Our next stop was Buffalo, NY to the Anchor Bar, where buffalo chicken wings were invented in the 1960's. I ordered ten and ate all of them - delicious!
Stay tuned for more: Noblehurst Farms, Seneca Lake Wine Trail and Watkins Glen Racing!
What a great trip! The falls look just gorgeous and so do you!! :) I have never been to Canada but it's on the list.
