I am a person who thrives on routine. I love having a plan and knowing exactly what I'm going to do and when I am going to do it. Part of my daily morning routine in watching MSNBC's Morning Joe - either on the elliptical at the gym or at home while I'm making my lunch for the day.
I love the banter between the show's two hosts: Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinkski. I appreciate hearing their differing views and the reasoning behind their beliefs. I may not agree with every point made, but I always want to take the opportunity to educate myself on all sides of an issue.
Joe and Mika were invited to moderate a panel: "The First 100 Days of the 113th Congress" sponsored by Across the Aisle and Real Clear Politics. The theme of the discussion was based around the issue that Washington has become so polarized it is nearly impossible to compromise and thus, we end up with gridlock. Since this blog is about my life outside of politics, I will gladly stop there.

The highlight of the evening was a brief meeting and photo with Joe and Mika. It was neat to be able to "meet" part of my daily routine.
My final word: Joe for President!
