Kern and I are spending the final weekend of summer enjoying the Eastern Shore cottage.
I'm not taking any furniture to paint. I'm not making a to-do list. I'm just going to throw some clothes in my bag and head out the door--the most freeing kind of travel. No planes or trains, just a Chevy truck on an easy and scenic two-hour drive.
I am, however, taking a bag full of books and magazines that I plan to spend time pouring over. I'm also packing ingredients for homemade chocolate chip cookies...
I hope your Labor Day Weekend is full of fun but also provides you with a few moments of reflection from the past summer and allows you time to contemplate your goals for the coming fall.
