I've been getting a lot of questions about painting with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
So many sweet friends are far away and I always say how much I wish I could sit down in their living room and go through the steps of painting with them--it's so easy!
I decided a video would be the next best thing! Warning: it's 11 minutes long. Brevity has never been a strong point of mine. However, it does have some great background music (shout out to Kern for his editing skills) and if you really do want to see all the steps of painting with chalk paint, this is great way to get a feel for it.
Tomorrow I will post before and after photos of the side table with some close up shots of the furniture.
Enjoy and I hope this helps you!

*Ok, bad screen shot of me, I know. Making a video (and listening to editing yourself) is a very humbling experience. I also did most of the filming post gym...now that is real life!
love that the lee's bear appeared for the second coat of paint :)
ReplyDeleteHaha yes! Teddy came to watch part of the painting.
DeleteEmily, thanks for the great video! With only one ASCP project under my belt, I am so appreciative of opportunity to see someone else at work. Your table looks smashing!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mercedes! I would love to see the piece you did! Link up here and show us!
