Waiting can be the hardest part

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and kind messages!

Gran Fran is still in the hospital and has had many tests run.  We are still waiting for the results and praying for a solution.

Of course, Jesus Calling had a message that spoke truth into all of our lives:

Understanding will never bring peace.  That's why I have instructed you to trust in Me, not in your understanding.  Human beings have a voracious appetite for trying to figure things out, in order to gain a sense of mastery over their lives.  But the world presents you with an endless series of problems

My Peace is not an elusive goal, hidden at the center of some complicated maze.  Actually, you are always enveloped in peace, which is inherent in My Presence.

These experiences are moments in time when we have the opportunity to flex our "trust muscles" and really put into practice what we say we believe: God is in charge.  He is good.  He is all knowing and powerful.  He is the Great Physician.
