My Light and My Salvation

My Gran Fran is in the hospital.

We are thankful for excellent doctors, good medical care and involved family.  I am thankful that I'm able to be in Mississippi this week.

Every corner I turned in Baptist hospital, I was confronted with encouraging scripture, reminding me to hold tight to God's promises in times of uncertainty.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;

whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life;

of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

Psalm 23:1

Do not worry about anything, but in everything, prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:6
